ChordFlask is a free, local-first Linux application for browsing audio and video, analyzing selected tracks for chords and beats, and displaying the results in sync while the music plays.
What it does
- Browse your local MP3, MP4 and WebM collection
- Analyze only the tracks you are interested in
- Display chords and beats synchronized with playback
- Correct chords manually and keep those edits across reanalysis
- Transpose and export chord sheets
- Optionally generate and play synchronized stems
- Keep media and analysis completely local
ChordFlask is designed primarily for playing along, improvising and exploring music you already own.

Linux x86_64. Ubuntu 24.04+, Linux Mint 22+ and Debian 13+ are supported. A prebuilt standalone bundle is available from the Releases page.
